Access to or use of this platform constitutes your unconditional acceptance of these Terms of Service in their entirety. If you do not agree to any provision herein, you must discontinue use immediately. MythFan reserves the right to amend these terms at any time; continued use after such amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be announced via a platform notice at least 14 days prior to taking effect.

This platform is intended solely for users who are 18 years of age or older. By accessing any portion of this site, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. Certain jurisdictions may impose additional restrictions on access to adult-oriented content; you are solely responsible for compliance with local laws applicable to your access or use.

By registering an account, you further represent that all information provided is truthful and accurate. Misrepresentation of age or identity may result in immediate account termination without notice.

Account registration requires accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. MythFan is not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access resulting from your failure to safeguard your login information.

Accounts are non-transferable. You may not sell, assign, or otherwise transfer your account to another party. MythFan reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, exhibit suspicious activity, or remain inactive for an extended period (12 months or more).

You agree not to: (a) upload, transmit, or distribute content that infringes on any third-party intellectual property rights; (b) use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers against this service without prior written consent; (c) attempt to circumvent access controls, inject malicious code, or reverse-engineer platform infrastructure; (d) post content depicting real individuals in a sexualized or defamatory manner; (e) engage in coordinated manipulation of community voting systems (Oracles, Souls, Devotions); (f) impersonate another user, moderator, or platform staff member.

Fan-created derivative works of fictional characters are permitted within the boundaries set forth in our Content Guidelines. Constructive criticism of games, novels, and narrative content is explicitly welcomed; harassment of individuals is not.

MythFan is a community-driven platform. Content you submit — including wiki edits, discussion posts, character profiles, and voting actions — is attributed to your account. You retain any rights you may hold in your original submitted content, but you grant MythFan a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, modify, and distribute that content within the platform.

You represent and warrant that your submissions do not violate applicable law or third-party rights. MythFan reserves the right to remove, hide, or modify user-generated content that violates these Terms or our Content Guidelines, without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

MythFan operates a fan self-governance ecosystem: contributors are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their submissions.

All original platform content — including editorial copy, data schemas, UI design systems, ranking algorithms, and canonical lore classifications — is the intellectual property of MythFan. Third-party game titles, character names, and artwork remain the property of their respective rights holders.

This platform operates as a community encyclopedia under principles of commentary, criticism, and education. All referenced trademarks, service marks, and trade names belong to their respective owners. Nothing on this platform should be construed as an official endorsement by any rights holder unless explicitly stated.

MythFan reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the platform — including features, pages, tools, or content categories — at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of significant service changes that materially affect user experience, except in cases of emergency, security threat, or legal requirement.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within a 90-day grace period, subject to our Privacy Policy.

MythFan may terminate or suspend your access to the platform immediately, without prior notice, for any reason including: (a) violation of these Terms or our Content Guidelines; (b) abusive behavior toward other users or staff; (c) fraudulent or malicious activity; (d) legal obligation. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you under these Terms cease immediately.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — shall remain in effect.

This platform is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. MythFan does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.

The accuracy, completeness, and reliability of community-contributed data is not guaranteed. Content on this platform is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only and should not be relied upon as authoritative. MythFan is not responsible for the content of external sites linked from this platform.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MythFan and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use this platform. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

In no event shall MythFan's aggregate liability exceed the greater of (a) amounts paid by you to this service in the preceding twelve months, or (b) USD $50. The foregoing limitations apply even if MythFan has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MythFan, its operators, moderators, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the platform; (b) your violation of these Terms or our Content Guidelines; (c) your infringement of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights; (d) content you submit or post on the platform.

MythFan reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you will cooperate with us in asserting any available defenses.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising hereunder shall first be submitted to good-faith mediation. Unresolved disputes shall be settled by binding arbitration; class actions and class arbitrations are explicitly waived.

The arbitration shall be conducted in the English language. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction. You and MythFan agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

For intellectual property takedown requests, please include: (a) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (b) identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing; (c) your contact information; (d) a good-faith belief statement; (e) a statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury. We will review and remove infringing material within 3–7 business days upon verification.
