Cookie Preferences
This page explains how MythFan uses cookies and similar tracking technologies, and details the controls you have over data collected via these mechanisms.
01.What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser at the request of a website. They allow platforms to remember your actions and preferences over a session or across multiple visits. Similar technologies include localStorage tokens, session storage, and browser fingerprinting signals. We refer to all such mechanisms collectively as 'cookies' in this document.
02.Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential to deliver core platform functionality and cannot be disabled. They include: session authentication tokens (to keep you logged in), CSRF protection tokens (to prevent cross-site request forgery), and user preference flags (language selection between EN and ES, UI state). No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies; however, blocking them via your browser may render the platform non-functional.
03.Analytics Cookies
With your consent, we deploy anonymized analytics cookies to understand aggregate usage patterns — which pages receive the most traffic, how navigation flows between sections, and which Oracle (voting) events see the highest engagement. This data is processed in aggregate only and is never linked to individual identities. Analytics cookies are disabled by default and activated only upon explicit opt-in.
04.Preference & Personalisation Cookies
These optional cookies remember choices you make on the platform — such as your selected display language (EN/ES) and any UI customisations. Disabling them means your preferences will not persist between sessions, but core functionality remains unaffected.
05.Third-Party Cookies
Embedded third-party components (including OAuth providers and any CDN-served media) may set their own cookies subject to the respective third-party's privacy policy. MythFan does not control these cookies. You may review and block them via your browser's developer tools or a browser extension such as uBlock Origin.
06.Managing Your Cookie Settings
You may adjust cookie permissions at any time through your browser settings. Most modern browsers allow you to: view stored cookies, delete specific cookies, block cookies from specific domains, and enable 'Do Not Track' signals. Note that browser-level blocking overrides any platform-level consent you have granted. Clearing cookies will reset your stored preferences.
07.Do Not Track
MythFan honours browser-level Do Not Track (DNT) signals where technically feasible. When a DNT signal is detected, analytics and personalisation cookies are not loaded for that session, regardless of prior consent state. Strictly necessary cookies are unaffected by DNT signals.
