The world of Beyond Chaos exists at the volatile intersection of classic tabletop roleplaying mechanics and high-stakes fantasy worldbuilding. In this universe, time and destiny are governed by cosmic entities like Master Time, Mistress Fate, and the elusive God of Chaos. The protagonist, Adam, awakens to find himself resurrected into his third life. Before his new existence can even begin, the universe freezes, forcing him to roll virtual dice to determine his attributes. He is granted exceptionally high rolls, but his destiny is immediately bound to a unique and classless path known as the Chaos Sworn. Guided by a sarcastic system voice named Bell, Adam must navigate a world where every physical action, social interaction, and magical incantation is dictated by the unforgiving whims of a twenty-sided die. This unique setup turns every mundane task into a high-stakes gamble.
This hybrid genre blends the gritty realism of a dark fantasy setting with the unpredictable tension of a tabletop game. Adam is reborn as a half-elf, a race deeply despised in these lands due to a historical massacre. His unique class allows him to bypass standard class restrictions, enabling him to learn any spell from any discipline, though at the cost of vastly increased experience requirements. Armed with a high-strength build but plagued by chronically bad luck on his physical rolls, Adam sets out to find his past-life companions. He carries the heavy emotional burden of his previous lives, determined to prevent the tragic deaths of those he once loved. The narrative masterfully juxtaposes the lighthearted banter of the system with the looming threat of an apocalyptic, purple corruption that threatens to consume the entire world. Adam's journey is a race against time and fate itself, where his only shield is his wits and his only weapon is the unpredictable roll of the dice.

Beyond Chaos - A DiceRPG
Awakening in his third life, Adam is greeted by the sudden freezing of time and the sarcastic, witty banter of his new system companion, Bell. After rolling incredibly high attributes, he chooses the classless Chaos Sworn path and sets out for the town of Red Oak. Upon entering the local Adventurer's Guild, he is shocked to discover Jurot, his loyal companion who died tragically in his previous life, standing before him alive and well. To secure his place in the guild and stay close to Jurot, Adam must undergo rigorous physical trials overseen by the joyful Vice Master Paul. Despite his godly strength attribute, Adam's terrible luck causes him to fumble the initial rock-lifting tests, forcing him to secretly boost his attempts with the Guidance spell. The climax of the trial comes during a chaotic three-way spar where Adam suffers a critical failure, accidentally flinging his longsword across the yard. Left weaponless, he channels his raw physical power into a devastating, face-slapping punch that shatters Paul's nose and leaves the entire guild gaping in disbelief. To further astound the onlookers, Adam secures an apprenticeship with the hostile dwarf smith, Master Thundersmith, by casually speaking fluent dwarven, completely shattering the ancient, bitter racial prejudice between elves and dwarves. He successfully crafts a custom dagger under the dwarf's begrudging supervision, earning his official copper adventurer's tag and securing a lucrative contract to identify magical items for the guild. Formulating a party with Jurot named the Immortal Duo, they hire a team of local porters, including a giant young man named Nobby, and set off into the wild forests for their first official quests. Their synergy is tested immediately as they hunt down wild boars, culminating in a terrifying encounter with a massive black bear that threatens to recreate the tragedies of Adam's past life. Though they emerge victorious and wealthy, the system warns him that the peaceful days are coming to an end as a dark shadow creeps over the horizon.
Adam overcomes his terrible luck through clever spellcasting and raw strength, reuniting with Jurot and breaking ancient dwarven prejudices.
As the Immortal Duo prepares to leave for the Iyr, they are accompanied by a group of elite Steel Rank Iyrmen who share the legendary, tragic history of Akrat the Deathsinger. Decades prior, Akrat, a half-orc Iyrman, fought alongside a squad of elite Royal Guards led by Captain Kendrick. Their mission to liberate the drakken tribes from the tyranny of the black dragon Daegyar becomes a brutal crucible of sacrifice. During an assault on a drakken outpost, a young drakken named Rok is killed by an arrow, sending the guard Charles into a guilt-ridden frenzy where he slays multiple soldiers before succumbing to his mortal wounds. The tragedy escalates when the party is ambushed by Daegyar along a treacherous mountain pass, where several drakken and the guard Randal fall to their deaths. In the ensuing chaotic battle, the medic George exhausts his life force to heal Akrat, dying with a smile on his face as the dragon retreats. The survivors ally with another group of Iyrmen to defeat the lightning dragon Rogryaen, claiming its hoard and powerful magical artifacts, but their thirst for vengeance drives them back to Daegyar's lair. In a final, desperate clash, the remaining guards sacrifice themselves to bring the beast down, with John landing the killing blow with his final breath. Timothy, the female guard who survived the fall, watches in horror as Kendrick also perishes in Akrat's arms. Akrat is left as the sole survivor of the tragedy, carrying the heavy burden of their stories back to the Iyr, only to face execution by a corrupt King who fears the power of the Iyrmen. This nested narrative serves as a stark warning to Adam about the brutal reality of this world, the high price of heroism, and the fragility of peace treaties. Just as the tale ends, the ground beneath their feet begins to violently shake, signaling that a real-world threat is closing in on their position.
The tragic tale of Akrat highlights the immense cost of fighting dragons and the political betrayal that fractured the kingdom's peace.
The journey to the Iyr is interrupted when Adam and the Iyrmen arrive at a fortified village under siege by a massive horde of undead. The village defenses are failing, and the gates are forced open as skeletons and zombies pour into the settlement. Adam, wielding his newly acquired dwarven warhammer, joins Jurot on the front lines to hold the breach. The battle is a chaotic symphony of shattering bones and roaring war cries, but the rhythm is violently broken when Jurot takes a mortal blow to the gut and collapses. Panic ripples through the villagers, but Adam refuses to let history repeat itself. Channelling his remaining mana, he casts Healing Word to pull Jurot back from the brink of death, urging him to rise and fight. Adam himself is heavily wounded, taking a brutal mace strike to his side, but he uses his Tough Spirit feature to shrug off the damage and keep swinging. He successfully holds off the remaining skeletons, allowing Jurot and the other guards to rescue the villagers from a massive skeletal beast. This hard-fought victory earns Adam a massive influx of experience points, triggering his first major level-up. Presented with the choice between a martial upgrade and a magical upgrade, Adam chooses the magical path, doubling his health pool and unlocking the powerful Omen feature, which allows him to roll dice in advance and manipulate the fabric of fate. As he celebrates his newfound strength, a young villager named Brittany begs to join him on his journey, forcing Adam to set a strict training trial for her before they depart. He tasks her with practicing her archery daily, promising to return for her once she has proven her worth. This triumph solidifies Adam's resolve to protect his allies, but his newfound power is immediately put to the test as they encounter a legendary dragon in human guise, revealing that the forces of the world are actively watching his every move.
Adam saves Jurot from death, levels up to unlock fate manipulation, and establishes himself as a dependable guardian.
The final stretch of their journey begins with a shocking encounter with the silver dragon Entalia in her elven guise. Adam speaks with her privately, warning her of the world-ending purple corruption and urging her to seek help from the giants. Soon after, they arrive at the next village, only to be confronted by Balrog the Bane, the notorious bandit leader who once shamed Jurot's father. While the senior Iyrmen attempt to negotiate a peaceful tribute to avoid bloodshed, Adam refuses to let the villain escape, knowing Balrog has kidnapped innocent children. In a daring act of defiance, Adam draws his sword and forces a confrontation, utilizing his newly unlocked Omen ability to manipulate fate. He forces Balrog's devastating axe strike to critically miss, allowing Jurot to land a clean, vengeful blow that reclaims his family's honor. The senior Iyrmen join the fray, utterly decimating the bandits and rescuing six captive children, including the elf girl Amaerabyl and the dwarf girl Thunderhammer. With the bandits defeated, the party finally crosses the massive stone walls of the Big Iyr. Adam is introduced to Sonarot, Jurot's heavily pregnant mother, and the formidable Chief Iromin. Under the scrutiny of a Zone of Truth spell, Adam reveals his status as a reincarnated soul and warns the leadership of the impending purple corruption that destroyed his previous timeline. Though met with deep suspicion, his honesty earns him the Iyr's trust, granting him access to their sacred enchanting shrines. Adam successfully enchants his first magical weapons, including a powerful handaxe named Little Paw, securing his place within the community. However, the peaceful atmosphere is shattered as Sonarot suddenly goes into labor, signaling the arrival of the child whose destiny Adam has risked everything to rewrite. He stands ready to defend this new family, knowing the dark forces of chaos are already marching.
Adam uses his fate manipulation to secure Jurot's revenge, rescues captive children, and warns the Iyr of the impending world-ending corruption.
Reborn into his third life with the unique Chaos Sworn class, Adam carries the heavy emotional baggage of his past failures. Despite rolling incredibly high base attributes, his physical actions are constantly undermined by terrible luck on his active dice rolls. To compensate, he relies on his tactical intellect, his witty system companion Bell, and his newly unlocked Omen ability to manipulate fate. Adam is deeply devoted to protecting Jurot and his mother Sonarot, risking his life to change the tragic timeline he once witnessed.
The son of the legendary warrior Surot, Jurot is a young Iyrman striving to bring honor to his family name. He is a formidable combatant who utilizes an axe and shield, though his pride is initially wounded by his lack of experience. Jurot forms a tight bond with Adam, whom he initially suspects of being a spy due to Adam's detailed knowledge of his family. He eventually reclaims his family's honor by defeating the bandit Balrog and stands as Adam's most loyal ally.
As the pregnant matriarch of the Rot family, Sonarot possesses immense political and physical authority within the Big Iyr. She is highly perceptive, quickly seeing through Adam's eccentric behavior and recognizing his genuine devotion to her family. After Adam passes the Zone of Truth trial, she grants him her full trust, allowing him to use their family wealth and enchanting shrines. Her impending labor represents the core focal point of Adam's quest to rewrite history.
