Lin Feng's water-chugging antics quickly turn him into a viral sensation on the university forum, earning him the title of the water-chugging fiend. The forum is flooded with thousands of replies condemning him as a shameless clown trying to get the school beauty's attention. After military training ends, Lin Feng joins his roommates, including the wealthy Yang Qiniang, for a hot pot dinner at a popular spot called Spicy Beef. In a twist of fate, Yang Qiniang's sister, Yang Qingqing, arrives with her roommate, who is none other than Su Ruoxi. The atmosphere turns incredibly awkward as Su Ruoxi mockingly orders two large milk teas, teasing Lin Feng about his legendary drinking capacity. Instead of shrinking away, Lin Feng calmly introduces himself and shakes her hand, breaking the ice and putting the awkwardness to rest. The dinner ends with the group heading to Taikoo Hui mall, where Lin Feng shocks everyone by casually buying a twelve-thousand-yuan skincare set. This satisfying purchase triggers a system cashback card, returning nearly two hundred thousand yuan to his account and doubling his wealth. This sudden influx of cash sets up his next major system goal, as he realizes that spending money is the key to unlocking even greater fortunes. His roommates are left staring at him in utter disbelief, unable to reconcile his cheap Taobao clothes with his sudden, massive spending power. He has successfully turned an embarrassing reputation into a genuine connection with the campus beauty while securing his first major financial cashback. This newfound wealth immediately opens up new opportunities, pushing him to look for even bigger ways to spend and level up his system.

With his bank balance swelling, Lin Feng triggers a side quest requiring him to purchase a Patek Philippe watch within twenty-four hours. Leveraging Yang Qiniang's father's VIP status at the luxury boutique, Lin Feng buys an Aquanaut 5156A for one hundred and sixty thousand yuan, which immediately upgrades his system to Level 2 and doubles his passive income to twenty yuan per minute. Seeking to maximize his dining cashback cards, Lin Feng treats his friends to a fifty-thousand-yuan feast at the exclusive Peace Imperial Banquet. He gets a four-times cashback reward of two hundred thousand yuan because his friends are completely satisfied with the meal. However, the celebration takes a chaotic turn when Su Ruoxi gets completely wasted on vintage red wine. With the dorms locked and his other roommates heading to an internet cafe, Lin Feng carries the unconscious school beauty to the Sheraton Hotel. Two jealous onlookers, Zhao Kai and Wang Tao, who had previously tried to buy Su Ruoxi water, spot them. They film Lin Feng carrying her inside, setting a malicious trap by uploading a slanderous video to the campus forum. They accuse him of forcing himself on her using despicable means, aiming to ruin his reputation and get him expelled. Lin Feng is left in a hotel room with a drunk girl, unaware of the storm brewing online. He calls Yang Qingqing to come over and help take care of Su Ruoxi, showing his true character, but the damage on the school forum is already done. The post goes viral overnight, setting up a massive confrontation between Lin Feng and his jealous detractors. When he wakes up the next morning, his phone is ringing off the hook with calls from his worried roommates and his homeroom teacher, Luo, who demands an explanation for the scandalous video.

The campus forum erupts with outrage as keyboard warriors demand Lin Feng's expulsion for allegedly taking advantage of a drunk girl. To save his reputation, Su Ruoxi makes a shocking move upon waking up: she publishes a public post declaring that Lin Feng is her official boyfriend, completely neutralizing the assault allegations. When the instigator, Zhao Kai, doubles down with a venomous post calling her a gold digger who faked being drunk to sleep with a rich kid, Lin Feng decides to show no mercy. Instead of engaging in a useless online flame war, Lin Feng unleashes Sun Wei, a ruthless corporate lawyer from Yang Qiniang's father's company. The police arrive at the university dorms, arresting Zhao Kai and Wang Tao for criminal defamation. The two conspirators are sentenced to two weeks in jail and face immediate expulsion from the university, proving that Lin Feng is not a helpless target. This swift legal retaliation completely silences the online mob and reverses public opinion. Everyone is left in awe of Lin Feng's mysterious background and immense influence, assuming he is a hidden tycoon. Meanwhile, Su Ruoxi's fake relationship announcement creates a new dynamic between them, as her favorability score jumps to ninety percent, officially making her his intimate lover. This unresolved romantic tension and his growing wealth set the stage for his return to his hometown for the National Day holiday, where he must figure out how to explain his sudden millions to his ordinary parents.

Lin Feng's assets hit the one-million-yuan milestone, unlocking a ninety-percent-off real estate coupon and virtual data glasses. Returning to Xiang City for the National Day holiday, Lin Feng uses the system coupon to buy a prime ten-million-yuan commercial storefront from Aunt Tang for just one million yuan. He then attends his high school class reunion, driving a brand-new BMW 7 Series. At the hotel, his bitter former classmate, Wang Shan, tries to humiliate him by telling everyone he is a broke loser with an ugly girlfriend. She claims he is being kept by a wealthy older sugar mommy to explain his expensive clothes and Patek Philippe watch. The tension reaches a boiling point when Su Ruoxi and Lin Xiaoman suddenly stride into the room. Su Ruoxi's breathtaking beauty and fierce defense of Lin Feng completely shatter Wang Shan's lies, leaving his former classmates utterly stunned by his astronomical rise. This ultimate face-slapping moment cements Lin Feng's status as a true powerhouse among his peers. Wang Shan is so thoroughly humiliated that she leaves the class group chat in shame, unable to face the reality of Lin Feng's success. With his storefront secured, his relationship with Su Ruoxi solidified, and his system constantly generating wealth, Lin Feng is poised to establish his own securities investment firm. The unresolved thread of building his company's framework and securing the unwavering loyalty of his future employees leaves a clear path forward for his financial empire, setting up his next massive expansion.
