The setting is the western region of the Rheinach Kingdom, centered on the forest-bound settlement of Porthsgate, also rendered as Porthsmoth and Portsmouth in the script. Nearby locations include Desberg, Arcavas under King Zedor, the outlaw camps, the Grand Library, the Sanctum, and the hidden hot spring pool. Porthsgate is an independent enclave protected by dense forest, old pacts, and a chief who governs alongside the Orc guardian Gorgu.
The cosmos is built on Portal Prime, the home world, and a dark opposite dimension. Broken portals allow beings from other worlds to cross into Portal Prime. Freya, Gorgu, and many others are displaced travelers. Veyrathal, the Hollow Beyond, is a decaying realm where dark creatures form and feed. The Devourer rules the dark domain and sends minions, beasts, and Dark Ones to consume worlds. The Order of the White Thorns, Lady Nora Wolstenholm, Severus, and the Sanctum monitor portals and relics. The Crimson Valkyries are an all-female warrior order. The Thieves Guild under Kael, outlaw bands, and local militias compete for survival. A key artifact, a sword-like relic, can permanently close the dark door.
Social norms are sexually open compared with typical medieval settings. Polyamory, sharing, voyeurism, exhibitionism, and sexual barter are tolerated in tavern culture and adventuring circles. Estrilda's Inn includes The Devils Alcove, a members-only adult entertainment space. Prostitution and sexual favors operate as informal trade. Magic includes potions, aphrodisiacs, healing herbs, mysticism, ritual sex for vitality, portal artifacts, and soul-linked phenomena such as Freya's glowing pendant.

The protagonist is a skilled thief and infiltrator trained by the village chief after being caught peeping. He lives with Freya in Porthsgate. In the opening, he infiltrates the Rheinach palace, glimpses Princess Elsa, steals exotic fruit for her, and escapes. Freya is introduced as his sibling-like companion, a former stage performer, tavern worker, and secret exhibitionist. Freya is revealed to be from another world. Her frail health and inability to experience full sexual intimacy are tied to an energy block linked to her homeworld. Meralda and Lady Nora confirm that Freya must eventually return to her origin world to heal. Nora also reveals the larger war: the dark dimension is breaching Portal Prime, and the protagonist may be able to retrieve the main part of a key that can seal the dark door. He initially refuses, then agrees only to secure access to Freya's lost home portal. The protagonist trains under Vica, is shadowed by Leila, and becomes entangled in village diplomacy. He helps forge an alliance with the outlaw leader Kael, spares Rennick Thorne and Lyra's camp, retrieves a gold chest, fights an otherworldly hawk, is pulled into Veyrathal, and is rescued by Nora. He learns that the dark enemy is actively targeting him. Meanwhile, his relationships with Evelyn, Freya, Meralda, Estrilda, Vica, and Leila branch into vanilla, sharing, and netorare paths.
Freya's route centers on her sibling-like bond with the protagonist, her origin-world curse, and her growing appetite for exhibitionism, submission, and sexual exploration. Vanilla direction emphasizes mutual protection and emotional exclusivity. Sharing and netorare directions trigger through approval of Travis, Deveron, Fredrick, tavern patrons, soldiers, and public exposure. Her core conflict is whether she can explore other lovers without losing her anchor to the protagonist.
Evelyn's route follows her transformation from shy innkeeper's daughter to sexually confident woman. Vanilla direction focuses on first love, first night, and gentle submission. Netorare direction triggers through Randolf, Gregory, public play, aphrodisiac exposure, and voyeurism. Her core conflict is shame versus appetite, and her route often determines whether the protagonist remains her primary lover or becomes a spectator to Randolf's rise.
Meralda's route explores the healer and mother-figure's suppressed desire, guilt, and return to romance. Vanilla direction keeps intimacy with the protagonist and her reawakening. Netorare direction triggers through Orlem, Edward, and her decision to date multiple men. Her core conflict is duty versus selfhood, and her route questions whether caregiving has cost her own sexual life.
Freya is the protagonist's sibling-like companion, a former stage performer, tavern worker, and displaced otherworlder. She is central to the portal plot because her curse and true homeworld are linked to the dark dimension crisis.
Long fair hair, blue eyes, petite but curvaceous frame, full bust, youthful face, and a tendency toward revealing tavern and modeling attire.
Bold, teasing, proud, impulsive, and secretly eager for approval. Her core flaw is restlessness. She defends vulnerability with bratty commands, mock superiority, and competition. Her coping quirks include mirror posing, exhibitionism, and testing boundaries through dares.
She was found lost and crying in the forest by the protagonist, forming the bond that defines her new life. She learns she belongs to another world and that her curse blocks full womanhood, causing an emotional collapse. [Core Bond] Her deepest attachment is to the protagonist, whom she treats as sibling, guardian, rival, and unacknowledged romantic anchor.
Evelyn is Estrilda's daughter, a tavern worker, and the protagonist's childhood friend and eventual girlfriend. She begins shy and body-conscious, then becomes a central figure in the sharing and netorare paths.
Auburn-red hair, pale skin, soft and voluptuous figure, full breasts, youthful face, and a preference for modest clothing that gradually becomes more daring.
Kind, anxious, empathetic, and submissive. Her core flaw is insecurity about her body and worth. She defends herself through quiet obedience, hesitation, and seeking approval. Her coping quirks include following commands, blushing silence, and slow surrender to curiosity.
Gregory pursued her, pressured her for sex, and left her feeling prudish and inadequate. Her first full sexual experience and later sharing with Randolf reshape her identity and confidence. [Core Bond] She loves the protagonist but fears losing his approval, and her deepest conflict is between romantic loyalty and awakened appetite.
Meralda is the village healer, alchemist, mystic, and mother-figure to the protagonist and Freya. She is a former traveler with hidden power and a suppressed romantic and sexual past.
Mature hourglass figure, ample bust, elegant posture, and practical healer attire that often reveals more than intended.
Warm, wise, patient, and secretive. Her core flaw is self-denial. She defends herself through caretaking, dry humor, and controlled distance. Her coping quirks include herbal work, meditation, and avoiding her own desires until pushed.
She gave up a wandering life of adventure, romance, and mysticism to raise the protagonist and Freya. Her drunken night with the protagonist and later decision to date again reopen her suppressed sexuality. [Core Bond] She loves the protagonist as a son but is forced to confront that her feelings have become more complicated.
